Plaque mounting is a special mounting treatment offered by our friends at ARTIPLAQ. Paper images are mounted to a high density board and finished with a UV protective coating. The process ensures a clean, stable mounting of the image and can be hung as is, or framed for an elevated look. We have used this treatment for simple alternatives to framing with glass, making it ideal for everything from kids playrooms to public spaces.

We also offer custom framing of the plaques, as we have done on this NoAA Nautical Chart. The look is clean, elevated and provides uv coating and protection without the use of glass.

Plaque mounting is an affordable way to protect and display maps, posters and images, and can be an excellent treatment for commercial and corporate framing solutions.

The plaque can also be framed, most often in a floating frame for an elevated look.
